I have the same year and model with only 500 hrs on the machine. I go through 2 belts a season. I believe it's the way the belt twists with the pulleys. I know after 2013/2014 they went with a different design where the belt is located and there are no problems with breaking the belt. I was wondering if you dealt with the belts breaking as I do. Thanks!

A friend of mine had so many issues with his Hurricane breaking down that even the dealer where he bought it from would not take it in on a trade. So he bought a18 hp selfpropelled Fradan to finish the season.

I bought the Scag Windstorm after watching these guys and you can say you have not needed one until you get one. it is a game changer on how I do leaves. This last fall cleanup season cut my time by 4 days after 86 cleanups. I expect to cut even more off of spring cleanups.
