I love seeing these older sets. Back when these came out I was in high school and was “too cool” to have Pokémon cards so I never got the chance to open any of these. Man was I stupid. The artwork is so good 😮

Oshawatt is definitely my favorite, in my opinion, oshawatt is the cutest, and evolves into samurott, who is my favorite fully evolved. Dewott is also adorable to me.

what's crazy about these tins is they used to sit for months on the shelves. There was some zekrom and reshiram ones as well. They usually were repacked with excess stock but everybody wanted the new stuff so they'd put these on clearance for about 10 bucks

Favourite gen 5 starter will always be Oshawott. Was my first Pokémon, and will always stand as a testament to my crazy gen 5 bias. I remember buying all three of these tins back then. Still have em, as well as the little figures from them as well

I remember I was 5 years old and my mom bought me a zekrom tin from the store for 15 dollars and out of it I pulled the reshiram full art and that had sparked my love for Pokémon to this day- 13 years later :)
