Or Fury was never as good as all of his sycophants thought. He didn't fight or beat great opponents before Ngannou fight. Other than Klitchsko, who has Fury beat that is a great boxer?
@lordfarquard9902 Жыл бұрын
@@beedebawng2556There are no great boxers to beat other than Wlad. Wilder, AJ, Whyte and the likes are terrible but still considered top 5 fighters. He will go down as the only heavyweight in world boxing history to dethrone 2 10+ title defence champions. Wlad and Wilder.
@noctislucis5862 Жыл бұрын
What amazes me is how Fury has successfully conned everyone into believing that he’s the best heavyweight of his era. He tippy tapped his way to win a decision over Klitschko and he never gave Klitschko the contracted rematch. He ran off and shouted from the rooftops that he’s the lineal champion. Then he was banned for 2 years for a banned substance. When he came back he didn’t work his way up through the ranks fighting top contenders, he was gifted a shot at Wilder. It was a cherry pick gone wrong because Wilder is a terrible boxer. After the Wilder fight he still didn’t fight top level contenders! He fought unknown Tom Schwartz and Otto Wallin. (Otto only became a big deal because he gave Fury a tough fight.) Then he beats Wilder twice and he fights a shot Dillian Whyte, gifts his old washed up friend Chisora a pay day and then ducks Usyk to fight a guy who has never had a boxing match before. It annoys me when people call him the greatest, the bar is set so low. He still hasn’t fought anyone in the top ten apart from Wilder and a shot Whyte. He hasn’t fought Usyk, AJ, Hergovich, Zhang, Joyce, Bakole, Makhmudov, Dubois, Parker, Ruiz. He also never fought Povetkin when he was around and Povetkin was dangerous. The list goes on and on.

Please stop, every HW in the top 3 right now have lackluster records. Parker was the weakest link out of the champions having edged Ruiz on a vacant title in NZ (hasn't stopped anybody in years and lost his belts fairly quickly. Ruiz, lol.. Ruiz was only ever considered pretty fast for a fat guy before he punched AJ into every corner of the ring in a massive shock to both he and Eddie (and a lot of others.. now apparently he's a monstrous puncher) made AJ nick his belts back in the rematch, that's the cherry pick gone wrong you mentioned. Dubois besides landing a low shot against Usyk in a slippy ring would be comfortably outboxed. Joyce would be the same I'm sure. I agree with you on Povetkin and Usyk, I agree with a lot of what you said but besides fighting eachother AJ and Usyk didn't end 2 of the longest title reigns in boxing history consecutively. Usyk was pushed by the same Chisora that Fury played with, and was knocked down by dubois (depending on which side of the fence) AJ has practically unravelled having being soundly beaten by the former undisputed cruiser champ of the world. There's lots of people all of them could fight if they really wanted to. I'll agree though that Tyson is not doing himself any favours in the court of public opinion.

One thing I’ve noticed is that Sugar Hill has said a few times recently that he’s not training Tyson and for this fight it’s been said that he Sugar Hill entered the training camp in the last five weeks for this fight, so what’s that all about? Tyson cannot love the fame and fortune of his status without accepting the media side of it which is a double edged sword, plus he just had another child. Frank comes across like Tyson’s yes man who’s too afraid to confront him but it’s coming like Johnny’s straight talking was too straight for BKM, brilliant interview imo.

Now can anyone of you tell me any of Tyson Fury's best fights where he finished fights as proper knock outs? Never he always puts his weight on top of fighters, he pushes them down and bullies them by confusing their game plan. But never have we seen him knocking people sparking out, never have we seen him dodging shots and make people pay for mistakes. But instead keep hugging people, hitting them at the back of the head and keep wrestling until he gets his opponents tired. That is Tyson Fury for you and still you are calling him the best heavyweight in his era. Mr Nelson please give me a break The guy has lost to Francis Ngannou point blanket period

Yeah, when I saw the state of Fury at the weigh-in I thought, "I've got to put a bet on this!" but I forgot. Obviously, Fury has never been a slim, muscular type and he has done very well despite this. For the Klitschko fight, for example, he was in very good shape (despite a bit of flab here and there). But for the Ngannou he was nothing but flab and bravado. Incidentally, I would still have lost the bet because I was going to go for Ngannou stopping Fury in round 3-6. I never imagined it going to points (let alone a split-decision!)

Johnny it happened because a mma guy was better than him accept it! I respect you but you are wrong on this one.
