The passage (1 Thess 4:15-17) says "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven", but Dr Damina said No. It says "the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds". Dr Damina deliberately ignored the word clouds (Gk. "nephélēs") and moved to emphasize the word "air" in the statement "to meet the Lord in the air". Typical of him, he lied that the word translated "air" is the Greek word "Pneuma" to support his false doctrine that Christ's location is in spiritual realm. The truth is that the Greek word translated "air" is "aéros" and not "pneuma". It is the celestial air surrounding the earth. The Greeks believed it to be the substance that filled the space between the earth and moon. They considered it to be thick and misty in contrast to the very pure, higher substance which they called "aithḗr". Unbelievably, Dr Damina clearly said those of us that are alive are not rising while the text plainly says, "we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds". It is unfortunate that some people will not study the Bible for themselves and will be defending this obvious travesty of the clearly written Scriptures. If Christ is in Damina's spiritual heaven (which he said is in the believers) to where is he descending? Into our anus or between our legs? Why are we, in whom he is currently dwelling, going to be caught up to meet him who is already in us? Then, the text says "so shall we ever be with the Lord". There are so many contradictions between Damina's teachings and the plainly written Words. Only his yes followers will swallow them hook, line and sinker.

God is not a transactional God of give me, and I give you. However, today's christianity has clearly become transactional in doctrine and practice. This is very sad and unfortunate. I think the problem here is that there are different versions of the Bible that chooses the dictions that are mutual intelligible for their eras. So, some may say fire, others may use different synonyms. However Dr. Damina could be correct and wrong depending on the version he read. But I strongly suggest he should be preaching salvation rather than glorifying his knowledge of hell which is questionable because he has never been to hell to give an accurate description. Everyone should disregard this teaching as it doesn't glorify God but satan.

With all due respect sir, you are wrong to say that the Greek word for air in “ 1Thessalonians 4:17” is “pneuma”. The English word for “pneuma” is “spirit” , or “ breath” or “ force”. But the Bible says: … “to meet the Lord in the air. “ The Greek word for “air” is “aera” not “pneuma”. Please, before you bounce on me, go and check the Greek meaning for “pneuma” for yourself and also check for “aera”. And do the comparison. One thing that is so admirable of him is that I can confirm Dr Damina has not encountered a celestial experience of God. He has not been raptured out of body to have the revelation of God. His interpretation is merely based on logos not the rhema of encounter with Jesus Christ. BUT WHEREVER THAT NEW EARTH WILL BE GOD WILL DWELL WITH HIS PEOPLE: * What we know from scriptures is that the new Earth has no sea nor have need of light because God will dwell with His people. From this we know that it will not be the same earth cos this Earth has been positioned to need light and sea for sustenance. There are many things wrong with what Abel Damina is saying in this video, I’ll limit my comments to his erroneous assertion on whether or not believers will meet the Lord in the air. (1) According to Abel Damina: The word “Air” is not the sky. The word air is Pneuma. Pneuma means to meet the Lord in the spirit. Those that are dead will rise to meet the Lord in the spirit.” This statement is categorically false. Right from the start, Abel Damina based his erroneous interpretation of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 on a false assertion that the word “air” means pneuma. The Greek word translated “Air” is not Pneuma. The word “Air” is the Greek word “Nephelē.” The word, Nephelē, is used 26 times in the New Testament. You find it also translated into the word “Cloud” elsewhere in the New Testament. One of the places where the word Nephelē was used in the New Testament is in Acts 1:9-11: ”And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11). This is an account of the ascension of the Lord Jesus. It’s Jesus being take up into Heaven. The context of Acts 1:9 is similar to the context of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Just as Jesus is being taken up into Heaven in the Acts 1:9 so will the believers in Christ be taken up into heaven in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. (2) Abel Damina claims: “But those of us that are alive we are not rising. We will just be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye and still remain where we are.” Again, this is a false assertion that totally contradicts what the Bible text actually says will happen. “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). 1 Thessalonians 4:17 says that those who alive will be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR. Yet, Abel Damina contradicts this very clear and specific passage to make up his own false theology. The context of 1 Thessalonians is what’s described as the Rapture. The word rapture comes from a Latin word meaning “a carrying off, a transport, or a snatching away.” While the word rapture is not in the Bible, the concept of the “carrying off” is clearly taught in Scripture. The rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time. They will all rise up and meet the Lord in the clouds. Watching this video, I’m reminded of Apostle Peter’s warning. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 2:1-3 about false teachers who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them. These false teachers will exploit people with their “false words” and in the process lead many astray. Abel Damina is a false teacher. This man is leading many astray with his eloquent, but false, teachings. If you care at all about your soul, you’ll mark and avoid Abel Damina. The man is a plague that will destroy the souls of those who follow him and believe in his false teachings.

The answer you seek for is right in my response There are places you believe exist but you haven't been there, don't you? If Yes, how come you believe that those places exist? Go and ask the rich man in the Bible...even ask our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who said it's a place where their worm dieth/dies not and the fire is not quenched...then you will know that there's hell after a sinfully spent life here on earth

The Gospel is The Good News of Salvation. Picking on preachers and trying to introduce theology and Greek translations to explain The Written Word is not The Gospel. I keep wondering what this man is up to. The Holy Spirit is The Translator of The Logos to Rhema- no man can do that. Why can't he just preach The Gospel in Its Simplicity? Why? What concern me with fire or no fire in Hell? I will NEVER go to Hell, IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME. I don't know if he's preparing for Hell. He is so controversial and heretic. Christians beware, this is absolute heresy, even his interpretation of Greek is totally incorrect. Chai, its the confidence for me 🤦🏿‍♂️. The greek word used in 1 Thessalonians 4:18 is "harpazo" which means to carry off; grasp hastily, snatch up etc. it was from this greek word that the word rapture came from, which means the act of trabsporting, the same "harpazo" is used in Mt.13:19;Acts 8:39; 2Cor.12:2,4; 1 Th.4:17; Rev. 12:5
