I think I like this better than the original. I definitely know what you mean about people being offended that Billie’s a straight person singing about that in a song, but I can honestly see where she’s coming from a bit. The life of a teenager girl can be hell and insecurities can really warp your perceptions of the actions of people around you. It was never a role I was comfortable in and never one that really fit me either, which almost made those things harder. But anyway, great cover Noah. I think you did a really good job with it. It was also very relatable to my understanding of myself now, being not straight and decidedly not cis either. Thanks for sharing🙂
