This reminds me of the time I wanted to get Kuki Shinobu upon her release. Even though I didn’t lose as much money as you did ($100) the amount of PAIN I felt after receiving 32 Chongyun’s BACK to BACK was enough to make stop playing Genshin for a while (and I lost the 50/50 to Diluc on 85 pity, but I already knew my luck was trash). My goal was to at least get Kuki to c4. I left the banner with her at c1. The worst part about it was that I had c6 Chongyun BEFORE the banner, so every Chongyun I pulled was USELESS. I swore never to pull on a Chongyun banner ever again. I can’t even play him without feeling disappointment.

And Genshin’s Weapon Banner still isn’t good enough, they should at least separate the 2 featured/limited 5-star weapons into 2 banners like HSR. Also, make the weapon banner guarantee the featured 5-star on the 2nd time, instead of 3rd.

Also it's not just for banners that had 3 re runs but for one's that didn't have one for a long time. Basically there won't be many Eula type situations.

Yeah because they put 2 limited weapons on banners now since there are also 2 characters running at once and Wolf's Gravestone is a standard weapon. That means it won't ever get featured again on anything that's not the Chronicled Wish, unless they make a new major change to how banners work.

Tecy I’m sure you’ll never read my comment but I have say thank you, you honestly made feel like a not so miserable person. I found you at the start genshin and was with you whole time till Inazuma where I inevitably retired from the game do to rage of the game gacha system. I was a f2p player for the first half, but eventually my grind was limited by resin so I became a light spender. Before I knew it I had spent near 5000$ and hardly had rent by r55. My final straw was getting qiqi on my Shogun pulls after grinding for them the hard way 10:23. That game was an unforgivable drug that ruined my life and I glad someone as big as you can speak on it. I also lost 50-50 on song of broken pines 3 times. Now I’m homeless and wish my wifu money was in my pocket now so I could at get my car back.

I got to 87 pity guaranteed on Sparkle :) I may never have seen 90, I don't remember, but I will never forget the pain of single pulling from 60-ish to 87 and getting that 3 star unicorn lightcone over and over again. I knew I was guaranteed eventually but it took like a week of catching up on old events 'cause I'm F2P :/ As Max0r said, these gacha games have got me in their grasp.

I don't know for sure but I wished on some banner(s) that had "The Unforged" on it, and I have it on refinement 2 right now. But I also recognize that I already have incredible luck in the game. When I wished for Furina and Zhongli, the 1st five star on both of those was themselves. Also I'm trying to save for the Pyro-Archon, so I skipped a lot of characters, including Xianyun. I hope that 1st of all that they are a she, and I also hope that Pyro-Traveler is awesome like Geo-Traveler is. I don't want a support-built Traveler I want a dps one. I build my Traveler with 2 piece Pale Flame and 2 piece Bloodstained Chivalry, and an element damage cup and I love it.

I feel exactly the same ( the same teccy homa pull rates ) when I chose that target fate weapon from the 2 weapons banner I pull only a single 5 star ONCE as a F2P per banner event, and they gave me a different weapon instead of the one I choose, like entirely three times each weapon banner updates pulls losing 50/50 to the other weapon I don't want. 😭😭 From now on I'll choose that wrong weapon to experiment if it's a guaranteed fate weapon.

My biggest spending spree was $2000 as well. But for that I got 4 Copies of Raiden and 6 copies of Engulfing Lighting. Yes I pulled an extra one for Xiangling. That was the craziest thing I have done in this game. And like Mujin and Tectone said. No matter what you spend. Time or Money. It's a lose-lose. So I still felt a pinch of buyers remorse. It would be 100X of that if I had to spend all that money to get one fricking item. Since these days I have calmed down a lot and only go for 1 copy of the character and max it's weapon. It's just not worth it to do any more when you cannot use it anyways to it's full extent. One thing that Tectone also pointed out here is that Content Creation can actually make up for the loss or you can still come up on top of it. But this is only true for biggest guys. 1 million views is a shit ton that's required to pull of these types of stunts when most people can be happy to make 100k views which would never cover the costs! Long story short for anybody that's not a massive creator just keep your wallets closed or get at max a welkin/battlepass and you get enough to pull most characters. ~Foxfire~

I was on holidays when Neuvillette's banner 1st dropped, and I really wanted the character but I had no pitty or pulls left. So I put money into the game. I got to 90 and lost the 50/50, it then took me another 90 to get Neuvillette. Cost me around 130 euro, I've not put money into the game since, they got enough out of me that day.
