Mortefi did not just talked about him in the beginning. According to Rover, he was "purring" when he called Xiangli. Bless his 2d soul. But it's nothing compared to how Mortefi left his home, his rich parents, his potential career in New Federation as soon as he became legal. All because he saw Xiangli Yao (and his project) at the World Expo when they both were teens. Glad I'm reading info in characters' profiles, sometimes it pays off like THIS haha

Aalto has the rizz factor and sense of humour that you can’t surpass :) Mortefi’s rival looks like a shonen protagonist with a mecha arm. And I’m all for it. I lost 50/50 on Jiyan. Been saving since for the next male character. I didn’t know it was rare for Kuro games. Guess HSR has conditioned me to expect a more equal character roster 😅

Yao is literally Ayanakoji, Genos, and that MC from Irregular something something anime at once. Also when you read his lore and ingame interaction to other characters, Yao is basically a fvckin Protagonist 👀👀

Xiangli Yao's face and his mechanical arm carry the whole design it's true ngl. To me, his top is bland ONLY BECAUSE he has a lot of minor details and patterns going on to his chest and blends in one piece of cloth that hugs his body instead of poking out, giving no sense of depth or layer on his clothes design. If you pay attention to his top piece, you can see that he has no bigger details or accessories that are eye-catching to look at. It would look more interesting if his coat's collar is wide and higher(gives a sense of authority since he's the Principal), and unbuttoning his top coat makes it look like a double-breasted chef coat(giving the depth of detail on his top) and put some brooch on the coat for eye-catching. Also, another thing to point out is that the current 5-Star male Resonators (MRover is not included) have a bottom-heavy design, They have a lot of things on their waist and layers of cape or waistcloth with belts. Only Jiyan is a balance between the top and bottom from a design perspective here.
