The D&D nerd in me appreciates that you rolled a critical success with the very first roll! :)
@LittleTreeMinis9 ай бұрын
Haha the non-D&D nerd in me has no idea what that means, but I’m glad to hear it 😄
@cavalaxis9 ай бұрын
@@LittleTreeMinisIt means rolling a 20 on the die. We call them natural 20's, which means you aced it, not a dirty 20, which is a lower number with a skill buff added. Also, known as a critical success, or a crit.

Ooh nice! Thanks for explaining 😺 I feel like a winner.

The white round thing you put on the bottom is the gizmo that holds a spool of thread on thread pin of a sewing machine--looks like probably Brother/Babylock. Very spider-y botness, well done!
@LittleTreeMinis9 ай бұрын
I knew it was some kind of spool, I got a whole pack of them for like $2 at the craft store so it wasn’t in its normal section. Thank you!

I've been watching Big Bot Bash videos all week, and it's really cool that you've dipped into some materials other bashers and scratch-builders haven't, like the jute, hair curlers, and costume jewelry. I really dig your chill vibe, too. Great video, and great build.
@LittleTreeMinis9 ай бұрын
Thank you, I appreciate the thoughtful feedback. Hair curlers are actually old school Bill Making Stuff, I can’t take credit for that. I’ll take credit for the rest though, ha 😀 Playing with different materials is a lot of what makes it fun, I think.

Jute as a cheaper alternative to static grass is a great idea! What a charming little bot indeed.

Amazing bot build! I enjoyed the "glitched" bot religion idea. Overall the guy looks great and the little details like the Teddy Bear as a religious icon are hilarious and fun! Great work and thanks for the video!

I can easily envision, years from now, random crafting KZbinrs will come across Bill's BeadBot Challenge PDF "somewhere" and be making it, talking about how "vintage" or "retro" it is and presenting their creations, years later. I kinda like the idea that it will keep popping up as a thing people will do.

I hope it becomes legend as you’ve described, that would be very cool. Will beads look different in the future? 😄
@AdamBragg9 ай бұрын
@@LittleTreeMinis Of course... "Everyone knows" they'll be silver, with a blue glow, and blinking lights, and each bead will have a hyper-intelligent AI in them. It's how movies portray the future, so it MUST be true! LOL!
