You should open base sets of xy ,s&m, sword and shield through scarlet and Violet and grade the top 5 pulls to see grade quality of each generation

Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald had some of the best stories in all of Pokemon. Team Magma and Aqua felt like real villains with real world ending threats, unlike the last few generations who were no threat at all. The Primals were some of the most amazing Pokemon cards. It's no wonder Alpha and Omega were such great games

Around aqua/magma set came out was one of the last sets I bought as a little kid before losing interest…close to 20 years passed, and man does it hurt knowing that set has so many bulk cards that are worth more than just cents, because I’m positive I had it 90% completed or more. Kids these days will never understand…but they are lucky in getting these full art cards though, absolutely badass artwork now

This set is very special to me. I had always collected cards, but it was a kyogre theme deck that got me into playing the card game. Also alpha sapphire was the first pokemon video game I ever played, and one of the best.

I just don’t understand the hype…I’ve got it 66% completed at this point buying packs for 4-5$ In ko boxes, 5 pack tins, and got lucky and managed to get an entire case for 1.75$ a pack in a going out of business sale. Managed to get the sylveon alt art, and of course it was off centered just like any card above 25$ I seem to pull. I think with that upcoming eevelutions celebration set coming in august it’ll slow down evolving cries & lies movement.

Nice throwback Rev. I collected x and y then stopped during sun and moon cuz I wasn't really a fan of gx cards. Then sword and shield came round and I started collecting again cuz I like the v and vmax cards and later on the v stars. I'm glad s and v are doing ex cards but can't help but think the ex cards in the x and y era was so much better and vibrant. Either way I hope they keep ex cards for next gen but probably not and feel like next gen will be gx cards. Love it if they bought back Prime cards they were awesome 👌

Can someone please explain why Primal Clash is selling for over $500 a box when the top hit is only worth $20? That makes no sense to me. Especially being from the XY era where pulls are tough and card quality is terrible?

Opening XY when it was dropping was HOT. I remember getting back into pokemon because of the XY figure boxes. And then SM happened.

I love the Ancient Traits cards. Feels like a precursor to full art illustration rares and what not. This was a great opening. I always feel like Hoenn gets such vivid colors in their card art. So this was a delight. Thanks so much for making this video, Keep it up!
