Should have heat wrapped the headers before installing to keep the heat in the pipe. a hotter exhaust can help "pull" exhaust gases out of an engine because hotter gases expand and have higher velocity, meaning they naturally flow out of the exhaust system more readily. Sounds nice, though! Love it :D

Just a note, if you like the deeper sound from the AWE 0FG system then you're not going to like the X pipe as much. X pipes provide extra scavenging giving a HP gain but make the sound more high pitched like screaming. Plan for an H pipe as well and test both, the H pipe is whats in the AWE 0FG and gives a deeper and equal sound as it evens out the v8 exhaust pulses.

The best cleaner to use in the interior is. Maguire’s tire shine your going to get that nice and shiny look with felling oil. And it last. And has uv protection. This is only works on Chevy trucks. So if you go this route and try it on other vehicle do so do a test panel

Chevy flattens sections of the exhaust pipe, particularly the Y-pipe crossover section, to manage space and clearance, more so around the transmission. It prevents interference and potential damage, especially in off-road situations.

Something you really need to think about with HP Tuners, You MUST close the tune file before closing the app otherwise after a bit it will glich and you will lose access to your most resent files (ask me how I know)

I love my 2020 silverado 1500 2.7 turbo i did a full cold air intake by kn and a bov by etc and a custom cat back its only rwd tho best 0to60 was 6.98 but it's locked at 98mph sadly

Silverado 1500 LD owner. Like the exhaust sound when under power, really don't like the "rasp" sound. I imagine when you work on the tune that will hopefully change. So glad wife liked it, the couch is not very comfortable!

if you do a dual setup try to make it equal length with a x pipe you can have a custom equal length x made or add a equalizer loop

H pipe gives better sound. That is more of what he is after.

@ x pipes and specifically equal length systems with a x pipe create more power. H pipes are usually a more unrefined boat sound and a x pipe is usually more high pitched. X pipes create more power because of exhaust scavenging they create

You should look at doing a mid-travel kit for her truck next. I just picked one up from Dirt King for my 2009. Comes with 2.0 rear shocks and adjustable reservoirs, 2.0 coil overs for the front with adjustable reservoirs and UCA’s. I also recommend the aftermarket alignment cams and pins. Straight bolt on, and awesome ride quality for a daily.

Kooks claim 15-25hp... which would equate to ~6%. The 0-60 at the end of the video improved by 7% so I would say that actually might be a true statement.

Pancake is simply for very conservative ground clearance. Don’t do X-pipe, you’ll lose all your awesome baritone from the AWE. X-pipe makes raspy noises.

With borla s type your truck will be loud and raspy. I did kooks LT headers with high flow cats on my 2020 6.2 added a huge magnaflow muffler sounds nice and quiet.
