You need to do it so it is 2 crew so after one is killed ID theif can take it and the game keeps going. Then they will need to hide they are now the crew from everyone, and crew will try to be ID theif. You set the rule that everyone needs to at least be trying to complete the objective. This would leave the 2 crew to have to try and find each other and team up. Would mean some fun deception

These chaotic PW lobbies Ze’s been hosting as of late have been so much fun! I love the randomness being added to the games with never knowing how many of each type of role might appear and it all started with this accidental all-ID Thief round! It was hilarious to watch everyone start to figure out what was going on and then trying to determine who the one crew member was! I wish the game had the ability to completely randomize settings so that even Ze could be surprised by it, but as things are the games being a mystery to chat have been highly enjoyable! I also loved how Ze continued to be punished by the lightning gods whenever he struck down Uneasy-one way or another, Ze will be attacked by some element of nature in this game, lol. I hope these super-fun, super-chaotic PW lobbies will continue for a good while!

Honestly, changing out the traitors for identity thieves seems like a good way to play when you're in a group that likes to get distracted with chatting - you slowly work toward the escape but some of you will try to kill others at some point. That said, I liked the balance in the last game here (though it might have only worked as well because people didn't know how many of each role there might be). It would be interesting to see whether it would positively affect gameplay on the really difficult maps.
