My mum is an audiologist and I can say that this is a lie- Hearing aids aren’t radios. They simply amplify sounds. Some hearing aids can block out certain noises, however they cannot tap into radio channels, or be able to hear through other rooms. They just input the surrounding sounds into the device. Yeah.

I have hearing aids and my hearing isn’t that bad but bad enough that I need hearing aids. If you turn off the hearing aids, you can still hear loud noises if they are loud enough so that off switch is kinda useless, unless your hearing is really bad.
