actually i got inspired by this little series and told my crush i like him. little thing about me, i have extremely bad anxiety. no matter what i do i will worry about it so much usually until i cry. but! said crush was always there for me, and he gave me this breathing technique to use when I'm crying. sorry that was a little off track, but basically I've liked him for four years and we had some past chemistry and because of my anxiety i never wanted to tell him. but i finally collected my 3 brain cells, my shitty grammar, and my all the confidence i could muster and on the last day before winter break i texted him this long confession and he was actually so incredibly sweet about it. i said sorry like four times in it and the first thing he said was „Charli, don't ever say sorry, never ever say sorry”. I'm not quite sure where i was going with this, but thank you. you gave me the voice and confidence i never really knew i had, so again thank you and I'm sorry for this long ass message 😭

One last customer toddled in, asked for a burger, and then left. All that was left in the rundown Burger King were a few families finishing up their meals. He came around to Deb’s other side, allowing her to notice his defined features and strong hands that put the final touches on each hamburger. Deb’s stomach did three front-flips as she flipped on the microphone, saying, “This song’s my favorite. Just y’all wait!” She pulled out the phone hooked up to the speakers and blasted the Soulja Boy Remix. The boy rolled his eyes. “You’re so annoying. Remind me of my little sister.” Deb’s heart sunk into her sneakers as he turned the volume down. He was just about to leave the restaurant when she tugged on his dirty apron. “Wait. Don’t go. The song isn’t over yet.” He cracked a grin. “Oh, you’re right,” he said sarcastically, leaving her with a little peck on her right cheek. She vowed she would never wash her face again, no matter how bad the acne was.
