I actually love the yellow lights, it gives a warm, vintage air to the video!

What an authentic-looking result! Where could we get a hold of these rollers?? I was expecting the outcome to be very similar to foam rollers, basically making these rollers redundant. But like you said, the lack of frizz and smoothness and perfection of the curls are striking--your curls look like they came out of a vintage photo! 🤯 Please let us know where you found them!

Great video. Foam rollers tend to leave my hair frizzy too. I had a quick check and couldn't find these rollers online. 😭 Only downside with these would be I tend to sleep in rollers. X

Great vid! New subbie! Where did you find those metal hair curlers.

You mentioned noticing greasy hair more easily on dark hair - it's also probably that you have course, low porosity hair like me? (natural blonde, 2c-3a curls, halo frizz ever present, hair fine but thick, objects to oil-based serums and coconut oil/shea butter leave ins/ oil based pomade.)

Great metal rollers. The curls are perfect. I think you could do smaller sections and do 10 or 12 more in the back.

Absolutely! I just need 10 or 12 more rollers! 😂

Close to zero waste rollers too!

Haha good point! Sponge rollers do break quite often so they aren't that environmentally friendly.

They dont seem bad to sleep in. The only rollers that hurt while sleeping are my clairol pokey hot rollers. I sometimes sleep with 2 full sets of them and they can be uncomfortable.. but they work great , so i just deal with it.

I love your videos, thank you for this one! I’m still trying to find the perfect curling method for me. I usually use sponge rollers but they to tend to give me frizz... I’ll see if I can find some of these! :)

Good luck! I have seen some on eBay and Etsy.

Have you ever tried the pro curler ?? Its for winding bobby pins with an aluminum device. Think they are from the 1930 's
@MissBeeTownsend4 жыл бұрын
No, but I'm very intrigued!
@cayman98734 жыл бұрын
@@MissBeeTownsend look on ebay or google it.. pro-curler.. i have never tried on. You wind on the aluminum then transfer to a bobby pin.. i think they were common a while ago.

I shall definitely investigate!

Beautiful result. Where did you find these rollers? I’m a hairdresser and I tend to use either heated or Velcro but these rollers look like little gems. X

Late reply but I've bought some on etsy. Hope this helps

This is fate, Iv been wishing for a roller that will let my hair dry more. Sponge nope, bendy nada, pillow floppy. I missed what those are called or would someone tell me to buy those.

If you type 1950s curling tools into Google results for both eBay and Etsy come up for these exact ones 😊
