This is a great example for all those out there that think golf's only about hitting the ball as far as you can with the driver. The fact that Micah played consistent with his irons is what most amateur golfers need to learn. Golf is played on consistently hitting your shots and getting the least amount of strokes possible. Jon Rahm said it best when he said there's no "i could have" in golf. if you hit a bad shot you move on, if you could have hit a better shot you didnt. keep your head down and play your best round. when he was playing with george i believe. seeing into a clear winners mindset was a good experience and honestly gives you a perspective a few years ago probably didnt exist unless you saw him in person or paid for a tutorial. i admire you tig, dont stop!

Bad rounds happen to good players. I played D1 in college, playing a tournament at University of Iowa on Saturday's morning round I made a 30 footer to shoot 89, turn around in the afternoon and casually cruised around in 73. Sometimes you just don't have it and bad breaks multiply the pain. Keep grinding.

I feel like this goes to show he has to figure out his driver or else hit it on holes where its a safe play and there isn't huge amount of trouble where he misses. Keeping the ball in play and mentally not feeling like you have to hit recovery shots after every tee shot I feel will help him tremendously.

I suffer a lot from the same things. When playing in men's league or just with my friends I play really well. When it comes to tournaments I just get in my head.
