We have had a CRF250F now for 2 years. Sweet bike, love it. Starts right up, good ergos, easy to move around on it, plenty of power to have fun too! I also love how quiet it is. Not as much power as an older XR250, but man, it's hard to beat the magic button and FI! I think you'll have this one for a while. Oh and it sips fuel too. Great spare buddy bike (as you already know).

You didn't go wrong - I got my father turned on to diet biking and we found him a KLX300R! Gonna buy him a Power Commander, FMF 4.1 full exhaust, and the KDX intake with twin air racing filter, trail tech fan kit, 1.6-1.8 bar radiator cap, and beefed up radiator hoses for cooling here after Christmas too...sweet machine, brother! He keeps up with my TM Racing EN300ES 2 stroke with stage 3 engine package, and Honda CRF450R (Built into an RX) with stage 2 engine, and still saving up for a few more upgrades...just need to save for A-kit suspension and FCP Engine mounts and it'll be finished, and it's literally molded to ride ANYWHERE! ...The Kawasaki KLX300R PERFORMS AMAZINGLY beside my bikes that I've spent quadruple+ the amount on! Can't wait to see and ride Dad's machine with those parts...after second gear the KLX300R WILL PUT OUT!!!

I recommend the plastic small mirrors that attach to the bark busters one you have the metal rap around on. They fold in for off-road and can spin the mirror when on road to get the right tilt on mirror. That’s what I used on my now street modified Wr250f that has a lot of goodies done to it. Love that bike for off road ripping . I have the 250l ,and a street bike atm, but needed something to scratch the itch I get from racing motocross for over a decade. The 250l couldn’t handle it all. It my mini adventure bike now the very modified 250l. Love them all.

I bought a slightly used 250F from my nephew. I love it! It is a fantastic little trail bike. I’m short, so the 34.7” seat height, though it might sound a little high, is great for me. That Baja headlight looks awesome. I’m not necessarily looking to make mine street legal, but it would be nice to have if I ever get caught out in the failing light. Might be looking into one.

Sounds low compared to most hard enduro and mx bikes with 39+ inch seat height like my wr250f that has since been made street legal. I bought this bike with high hopes but you know I kinda went too hard… so I wanted the ultimate drill/woods/harescramble bike (absolutely hate the idea of drilling standing on a 12k ktm450….). Race tech fork springs set for motocross racing (not bad held up decent), race tech custom shock (trash blew up 3 times and race tech bailed on me) so stock rear shock (not bad at all but does bottom hard), yoshi pipe excellent sound and slight performance increase, moose inserts, increased ground clearance, triple clamp upgrade with pro tapers, all in all bike was amazing but forks bent from a jump, it was very heavy, seat was very uncomfortable after 15-20 min riding, limited aftermarket parts for upgrading but Brazil has the works, hmm I guess other than those little things it held up awesome for a 24hr race in Alabama I used it on. Honestly gpx has the perfected version but still carb. Ktm frame with xr250r engine. If it was fuel injection it would sell like crazy. Light weight air cooled 250r motor with wp air fork suspension so you can go from woods to motocross effortlessly and ktm steel frame for comfort ergos and lighter weight and bam the perfect bike. Check out the FSE250E from gpx they’re getting close to the perfect everything bike.

Not going to lie you had me hooked on the 250f. Until I went and sat on one today. Compared to the KLX300R it's a little donkey. I understand you can do the lift kit and all that. But why when you can buy the 300r and get so much more of a bike without upgrades. This bike is at best a beginner bike. You represent this bike like it's super capable. It's not much more than a farm bike. I've been riding the Brozz for 3 years now and it definitely beats the 250f with size/ergonomics/cockpit. Only thing the Brozz lacks is power. 9,500 miles on the Chinese clapper. Ready to move on but the 250F is a downgrade for the price.
