POV: Your tiny footsteps don't make much noise as you walk slowly into the mysterious woods in your backyard. You don't remember at all who you are or what you're doing there. You hear a woman singing, its very ethereal. It almost sounds familiar, like someone you know, or knew at least. Her singing gets louder the more you walk into the woods. You see a completely pale woman, her long black hair flowing in the breeze as she sings. She has her back turned, looking away from you. She wears a pink hat, and stops singing abruptly as you are now just a few steps away from her. She turns around quicker than you would've expected, now standing at about 7 feet tall. The hat is covering her face as she extends her hand out to you. You pause, thinking if you should take it or not. You slowly stretch out your hand, clasping hers and walking deeper into the woods with her. I guess you don't know how long it's been. Really? Five years repeating this, must make you forget.

Introducing my args Tw abuse and SH Game1: ethereal being Ethereal being is featuring a little girl, who discovers self harm, with going through abuse she finds herself going through a loop of games, finding her way out she makes it to her house, only 72 years later, the house being old and abandoned, she finds her father's grave, only to see no face. Just a body, name and date. She falls asleep and becomes one with the grave. Sinking into her final moments with maybe her father, she doesn't really know, she watches the sunsets, the people walking by, but soon realizes she was just a character, no meaning, no future, just a character in a ARG. After her last breath and becoming one with the blooking grass and dirt, she wakes up not her father, or mother. Not anyone. Nobody. Just level 1.

Hearing Higurashi used, I highly recommend their lesser known sibling Higanbana no Saku Yoro Ni. It’s soundtrack captures walks the line between daily happiness and unending despair perfectly and some tracks might fit in with your playlists. I also give recommendations to both Rule of Rose and Demento (Haunting Ground), Demento especially veering into inescapable dread territory with its soundtrack at points. And I’d be remiss not to at least mention Parasite Eve (as it’s a personal favorite of mine). Some tracks hit just right for me when it comes to crawling tension and atmosphere. Definitely stuff to look into coming from someone who’s enjoyed your playlists so far! ❤️
