@@verresmilliterres This was not from the Silamarillion but from a very early version of the story of Beren and Luthien. Sauron as we know him was not developed as a character yet. The cat (Tevildo) had the role of a servant of Melkor. He was later written out of the story and replaced by Sauron in the final version of the Silamarillion. But you can still read the old version in the Histories of Middle Earth.

My Maine Coon will let me know when it's time for him to watch TV. I'll put KZbin on and play a variety of cat videos and he will sit on his carrier in front of the TV and non-stop watch for 45 minutes. I love this breed of cat and how smart, curious, playful and loving they are.

Same. I absolutely love them for the same reasons. I wish you could see the hilarious wee one I have at the moment. The pure breed got with a very small tabby next door. The result is a GORGEOUS little critter the size of the small tabby but with long fluff, huge fluffy paws, a gorgeous little lions mane face & a little Bob instead of a tail. The BIG personality in this wee critter just cracks me up about 10 times a day. Never stops purring, sooo loud. Moves like a Main Coon - greased lightning with all 4 paws leaving ground at times. I love him to death💖
