I still use a digital camera when I go to cemeteries to photograph headstones for Find A Grave site. It keeps them separate from my personal photo's. JS....I had my garage sale recently--voted Most Organized Sale--and chatted awhile with a Amazon reseller and talked about who we watch on KZbin and you guys were on both our lists....Keep up the great video's.

Here in NZ, we noticed that lots of people say it is against the rules to try get into garage sales the day before, but when we went the day before we saw those same people, they will say and do almost anything to get in first. There are only two rules I think, be first and always be nice to the sellers and other pickers. Always good to see you get great stuff.

On some of the vintage 40s/50s clothing, do some research on sizes from the past until now. As people put on physical bulk body wise, the manufacturers eventually changed the sizing standards!!!

Cashmere is not bad, but if you find rare colors, most interesting colors it can sell super well, even for not great brands… great brands though is where it’s at too!!! Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana etc… awesome to be able to pick a yard sale 23 hours in advance hahaha

just a suggestion ( or you probably already know) look for Holt Howard Santa Mugs on those Christmas tables where you got the 2 navity sets. Also, outside in the garage was a valuable cookie jar ( like $60) it was a baby chick shawnee cookie jar; that sale looked fun! And the people were so nice. The best type of sale!

It’s a thing with those cameras. My daughter and some of her friends use them. I ended up giving her my old Canon camera and she uses it all the time. They like how the pictures turn out. She downloads the pictures from the SD card to her iPhone with an adapter from we got Amazon.

Hey I watch you guys all the time and I have a question, i'm a part time reseller and have found some PS2 games Fatal frame 1, 2 ,3 and Silent hill origins all sealed and if I sent them in the be graded would be worth even more but the price toget them all is $600 maybe a few bucks less if i'm lucky. Its a lot to pay but looking at what graded copies of these games are going for it looks good but a lot of money to put down on them. just wondering what you would do? Thank you for your time.

I haven't sent anything to be graded. It does sound like some of what you have definetly qualifies for items you may want to get graded. I'd check ebay and see the difference between what graded and non graded are selling for and go from there.

I feel the need to add additional context. You as a reseller are responsible for the items that you source. It is OK to ask someone selling you something questions to get an idea of their place of origin. This isn't a matter of being rude but of being a prudent reseller on ebay and other platforms.

Well, I wasn't the only one buying in advance so the sale was already and was going to further be picked over the day before. I wouldn't say they got screwed. There were a literal ton of sales the day the one sale happened so everyone had opportunity to find all kinds of awesome items.

I know you want to sell quickly, but it seems to me that if resellers keep doing that, there will be a race to the bottom and everyone misses out on better profits. It was an unusual amount of identical nwt items and it isn't about being rude or not being rude when it comes to asking about their origin.

I have a theory on the cameras and it is NOT GOOD! They can’t be traced like cell phones can. Does that give anyone a hint? I hope I am wrong. As a survivor I know these offenders will do anything to not get caught. I hate to even mention this but you brought it up saying you never see anyone actually USE them….another reason I feel they are not used in public. Also you can use a dark room to develop the pics.

I mean the sale was already pre picked and I was invited in. The vast majority of people who resell or just go to garage sales for fun would have stayed. And I would not have blamed them for doing so. I did expect some people to have this reaction and I can see your side of the argument. The actual day of the sale had tons of other sales. There was a ton of opportunity to buy amazing stuff out there.

It's not unprofessional. As a reseller you are liable for the goods you list on platforms like ebay. Knowing the origin of something is important. It was an unusual quantity of brand new high end athletic gear. It's reasonable to ask.
