We always hype players up by saying they put up "videogame numbers", but Bonds was so good what he did cannot be replicated in a videogame. My main issue with MLB The Show is the regression system. I feel like good players start regressing too early and too fast. For example, last year I signed Mookie to a 10 year max deal in one of my franchises and barely halfway through it, he went from a 99 to a low 80’s player. That’s ridiculous in my opinion. Players like that shouldn’t regress until later in their careers in my opinion. Idk. Maybe I’m looking into it too much
