Its weird to me that in development they thought it was a good idea to give everyone a dedicated melee to move faster and encourage using melee, and then immediately nerf it by just fucking you over if you get shot. Seems counter-intuitive

Unfortunately, it is not "stun bullets". If you are holding the knife and get shot with literally any weapon regardless of attachments, it will act as if you were hit by "stun bullets". The devs thought "MW3 knife too strong, need big nerf" and that is the result. The range and lunge nerf I can see, but being disabled when shot while holding the knife is a bit much. Anyway, keep stabbing your way to Max Prestige!

one thing i've noticed about sleeper agent and knifing is that if an enemy sees you running at them with a knife, they are gonna shoot you, especially if they know someone on the enemy team is knifing. Its has its downsides, but still a fun field upgrade, especially being able to talk to the enemy team

One of my favorite moments was in MW2019 multiplayer, I had bought the ice climber pack and it came with a ice climbing axe, I was able to move so fast and I got behind the team and was able to slice up the entire team before they knew what hit em.

When I play face off and there is people knifing, they definitely don’t get stunned when I hit them with my bullets. Feels like I put half a clip into them and then I’m dead. And I start shooting from a decent bit away too

The stun bullets are absolutely ridiculous, they suck any bit of fun out of storming a group/even a single enemy. When you're using a melee weapon you're already at a disadvantage, there shouldn't be additional penalties since it's already difficult to get the jump on other teams too. I might be mistaken but I think they buffed stun bullets in the season 1 launch, might just be my imagination though.. I've actually given up playing now cos I mainly enjoyed melee but the stuns are so frustrating and OP against melee now I cba!

Don't know if it is (just a theory) but if the sleeper agent field upgrade gives you the skin of an enemy player, then it might copy their equipped finishing move aswell. If it just gives you random skin from enemy faction then it maybe defaults to default one.
