My smell coming from the rear of my 04 yukon. I've changed the purge valve the purge valve canister. Still got the smell. An my purge valve is loose like that and I have the rubber piece 🤷‍♂️

I have never seen it get loose like that before. Looks like you need to just tighten the bolt. Gm did not make it loose

i have the 4.8 Lt 2005 chevy 4x4 1500 my Evap is under the truck next to the gas tank

No longer smell gas.. Look under the truck while it's running and make sure the gas line or fuel filter isn't leaking..

Try to seal with silicone
