Characters: Tanglepaw (cream/tan-ish tom), Summerpaw (brown she-cat), and Redstar (ginger tom)
Story: The two apprentices were training in the woods with Summerpaw's mentor Snowstorm. When Snowstorm and Summerpaw got into a fight, Snowstorm left, and Redstar arrived. He says he'll go after her, then mentions smelling some twolegs in the area. Quite suddenly, he is shot through the eye with an arrow... ^^;
Yep. That's a happy picture.

I like how u split the picture. The shadows r really good, so r the Rays of sun. The shadows press the feeling of death and danger, but then the sun comes through the tree canopy and seems to say," Don't worry, everything is going to be fine"

Okay, I am so so so sorry to comment on this but it's been bothering me since I first saw this speedpaint. Let me first say, very nice work as always River. That being said, I have some constructive criticism. I understand the arrow situation had nothing to do with you and it's proximity to the body was for dramatic effect so I won't be talking about that. What I WILL say is you did the blood running down Redstar's face incorrectly. It indicates that he was standing while he bleed out before falling to the ground once he was done bleeding but that isn't possible? From what I saw of the comic he died on impact, therefore he would have fallen instantly and the blood would have run in a completely different direction. It should being going over his muzzle in the direction of the other eye, heading for the ground. The way you drew it defines gravity basically. This is a very common mistake and I'm not looking down on you for it in any way, I used to make the same mistake (though I did it more with tears).I'm so sorry if you were already told this or figured it out on your own, it has been a while, but I really felt like I should mention it. >

I do believe that River Spirit should make the original warrior cats series into videos or episodes. It would be really cool, especially with her drawing talent. However, I do know it's a lot of work to make a video only on drawings, for example, the SSS productions of the warrior cats series took forever and they still have yet to make another video. But it would be absolutely EPIC if River Spirit made the original warrior cats series into episodes!
