It's really difficult to attack into disruptors and a superbattery, you can throw away a huge lead. I've noticed people saying that one player could have won the game earlier under many different videos but I don't think it's quite that simple. Just because your army could destroy the opponent's army in a huge fight in the middle of the map doesn't mean you can end the game then and there with defensive capabilities in opponent's base. And some people seem to be forgetting that they know everything about that game but the players don't, they can't be sure in how much of a lead they are so they prefer to take it slow and slowly build on their advantage instead of trying winning on the spot which can result in a throw.

The same can be said why Nightmare didn't build any sentries or mothership core two units which are essential if you are going to attack head on a late game terrain air army. It's because their blood is pumping fast, overflowing with energy which leads to them getting tunnel visioned.

As a plat Terran I need to learn where it is that Protoss are so underpowered at. Bc any macro game I play vs a toss my army gets absolutely steam rolled not even close. Even with stutter step upgrades and Vikings for the colossi. Usually followed by some sort of smart ass BM from my opponent like “EZ LOL”

If you are struggling in plat as Terran you need to learn to execute your macro and harras better. A well executed mine drop with a follow up +1 tank stim combat push will kill pretty every single platinum and diamond 2-3 Protoss. You need to work on hitting your timing and build execution.

What a great game but Protoss does defintely need a chase down unit not named 'phoenix' that can maybe alleviate the need of the disruptor...I hate the disruptor and think its a terrible unit far inferior to reavers. It should be a support unit like tanks and colossi not be a "need or die" unit. Maybe Starcraft 3 can get rid of Dustin's "terrible terrible damage" units of the baneling, widow mine and disruptor and make units that actually work as supports.

I like Clem way better than Byun. Byun just stutter steps and drops with imbalanced units. To his credit, most people do it worse, but also most good players pick zerg. A lot of terrans don't like to admit their imbalanced units so they still try complicated strategies like Zerg does, but it just makes them worse. Bro just pick bio, medivacs, and one spellcaster, and set up some siege units. It is hard, just easier than any other race.

Clem that like 50 opportunities to win that game. He just did take them. He sucks at tvp. And what are you talking about? Did you even watch the game??. DTs are nearly useless at the pro level as this game showed. Distruptors are easy and micro against. You rarely ever see a game changing distuptor shot. Terrans dodge them no problem. They are awful units. At this level of play on this patch Protoss units require more micro than Terran. Colossus disturptor and zealots are crappy clunky units.

And most of the time the protoss player ends up losing way more resources trying to snipe a planetary with them than its worth unless the terran really messes up. Distruptors are the only unit that protoss has which Terran doesn't have a hard counter to. Thats why they are a key unit.. Doesn't mean they aren't a bad unit. They are easy to dodge and easy to snipe. clem couldn't end the game sooner cause he sucks at TVP. Maru in that position would have kept pushing after killing the 3rd and it would have been over.

Game 1 is basically just a script of "tell me terran is imbalanced without saying terran is imbalanced." Literally 50% of his lines translate to this meaning. Nightmare outplays him so hard. If you describe what nightmare does, and what clem does, you will be descibing better moves in nightmare.

If he just didn't have to fight terran units with protoss units, he would have won easily. There were like 3 major skirmishes, with equal army values, and protoss just got crushed. I knew when I saw carrier in the thumbnail that it would be a terran win. I didn't count on Nightmare outplaying him so hard, but eventually you have to kill terran units with protoss units and that's all she writes.

They leave the crap behind in the terran race. Some terran players decide to stay terran despite being good enough to play another race, and they are not salty. They aren't quite as good just because the race is easier and it stops them from learning as much skill.
