PS: Pferdestäke (literally German for horsepower) is a metric horsepower (still a wonky metric - kW are more useful). In the UK you use bhp, i.e. brake horsepower an imperial unit of power (also sometimes just called horsepower to confuse everyone even more). 1bhp is 1,01387 PS which leads to all the difference performance figures. This is especially the case when namings or certain thresholds are involved as with the McLaren 600LT with 600PS but nonsensical 592bhp or the Bugatti Veyron cracking the amazing mark of 1000 horsepower with its 1001 PS but falling short with "only" 987 bhp.

Congratulations. I’m 100% sure you will love your new car. I’ve owned a 600LT Spider for over 2 years and every mile is epic. It’s a GT3 on track and transforms on a sunny day with the roof down into a great tourer. The ride quality is very surprising and the Senna seats not only look stunning but are amazingly comfortable over a long journey. Servicing costs are fairly reasonable and mine has been 100% reliable. I really can’t think of anything else I’d rather own for the money.

PS or PferdStarke is the metric measure of horsepower. It is the equivalent of 98.6% of one HP. The official measure in the European Union is kW - kilowatts - but is rarely used in everyday descriptions.

Turbo is life, now you have them you won't want any different, the boost coming on the sound of the air being sucked into the engine just everything about a turbo car is just different and non stop smiles. Youll find in traffic youll end up waiting just to hit the boost as you catch back up to the traffic purly to hear the air pulling in.facts though my clio Williams that I turboed I still wish I had to this day

Rwd is quite often better in a drag race (0-60) as there's less power lost through the transmission system, it weighs less and cars squat on launch meaning more grip is given to the rear wheels. Lovely vehicle tho. Love it. 👌🔥

Matt, wow! I would like to point out that I am almost 30 years older than you so I think differently having hindsight that you've yet to acquire. Back in the day I used to be in a mustang Club and they were all kinds of cars Shelby's, and there was also a number of original 427 Shelby cobras. The people who own that type of vehicle as well as vehicles that you now own keep the vehicles in temperature controlled environments. Here's my suggestion and it wouldn't cost that much money, build a cinder block building just to put the car in so it doesn't have to be a huge barn just a building that you can open the car doors normally and not touch the walls. Then you buy a temperature control trailer it monitors the humidity the temperature everything thermodynamics. That way your vehicle will stay at the opportune temperature that the manufacturer recommends at all times, it will also be protected because it would be locked inside the trailer locked inside the garage. I know Ben is shaking his head but we're talking about serious money, and something that you value so just like your biking world that you value protect that vehicle. I'm curious have you ever driven an original 1966 427 Shelby Cobra? Carol Shelby the designer and builder of these vehicles recently passed away but then the last 10 years. There's a KZbin video out there where it shows his vehicle when it was sold and I think the guy paid 6.6 million for it. But it was Carol Shelby's had his signature on the vehicle and exceeding 800 horsepower and just a phenomenal machine one of a kind never see one again. Cobras that are original ready to go run anywhere from $800,000 to millions. In fact as I remember Bill Cosby bought one of Carol Shelby's personally owned vehicles this is back in the '70s and '80s I can't remember when exactly. Bill Cosby took it out one time the car absolutely frightened him with its power and he returned it and got his money back from Carroll Shelby. What does that tell you. In my day if it didn't go fast people would say Chrome it. That's why so many people have chrome all over their cars because it looks nice but why spend money on Chrome? Now I'm not saying that your vehicle the McLaren is not quick hahaha I'm sure it is. It's just something about an all aluminum body made in 1966 that is designed for two people and is an absolute rocket. I don't know if you ever looked at Cobra's but check them out. Proud of you good job protect your investments you don't want Junior rolling by on his tricycle and putting a big scratch down the side of that no doubt carbon fiber body. Got to think quick You're a daddy now! Peace
