I'm hearing that so much that money don't buy happiness. A person can have a billion dollars in the bank and be the miserablest person on the planet. There is a feeling of something missing inside, like a huge hole. And that huge hole is missing God. A lot of folks don't realize we all have a holy spirit within us, that MUST be fed, and the only way its fed is with God's Word. If it's not feed, it's like longing for that Word food, just as your physical body gives hunger pangs and longs for food. The spirit never leaves and never sleeps, just waiting on you to Ask for His help. So the longer it just sit there waiting not getting fed it gets sad and that's when that miserable empty unfulfilled feeling comes. There is another term used it's called grieving the spirit. I was once taking a mail bible course, and had went to the store and someone made me say some very harsh things to them,and I felt justified by it. But when I got home an incredibly sad feeling came over me I had never felt before. So I went on to start my daily Bible course and this lesson was on grieving the spirit. It then dawned on me that the holy spirit must have seen and heard me say those harsh words to that person and was sad, I had grieved the spirit. That was the only way I could see it because that sadness that came over me was like grieving. So I prayed and asked the Lord to forgive me.❤

This is 100% the truth. I do not know this man or who he is, but I share his story and experience. This also happened to me. Had a few dollars in my pockets.. was always itching for the next big thing, a thrill, new car, trip to Vegas, girls, drugs, trips overseas, spending money.. no matter what I did I felt empty. I was looking for material things to fill the void. One night I was passed out in a place I didn't recognize with people I didn't know and I remeber waking up and feeling a sadness and an emptiness like never before. usually when I felt this I just drank it away but this time was different man I just had enough. I was like, who am I and why am I alive? is this all there is??? I got outta that place and went home and slept for 3 days and cleaned myself up. After that I reached out to my family and started reading Gods words. That's what I had been missing. 10 years later I'm Baptized and happier and more at peace then ever. I fall asleep with a smile on my face and a peaceful felling can't explain because I know no matter what, God's got me. im protected. knowing that your soul is taken care of is the most powerful feeling there is.
