I used to be a box hoarder as well. But it just got to the point that some useless cardboard was taking up so much closet space that I decided to recycle them all and use that space for better things. And you have way more than I ever did. Now they go out as soon as I'm done building a set.

That’s the move. I mainly keep them for reselling potential, but honestly, I doubt I would even ship them in box as it adds so much to the size, weight and cost.

@brickitect yeah, that's the only reason I held onto them initially. But then I'm like, I'm unlikely to sell most of these, and most often used sets are around the same price with or without the box, so you're wasting so much space for a potential couple extra dollars. That's how I look at it these days anyways 😁

it's nice how they matched the strap to the stripes on the polaroid camera - its like they were designed to be displayed next to each other :)

A great, natural, as it comes video. Its your style of presentation and editing that makes you stand out vs many other KZbinrs and it makes you much more approachable! Its why you have such a great community! Never change! The camera hadn't really come on to my radar, but it looks a fun little build! The countache looks like it will be a fun bigger build! I feel a little like you with regards to boxes. Is a set truly complete without a box? Im sure the time will come where i need the space they currently reside, but thankfully thats a concern for another day!

Yard sale season is a short 5 months away. You have like 8 huge bins of unsorted lego. Do you honestly believe you could get that done before May? And even if you did, where would you put it all? Do you honestly think all those bins could fit into your white drawers on your desk? Maybe you should ask yourself “how much of each kind of brick do you need?” If you think 200 2x4 blue bricks (i dont know what fits into each drawer), and you have 300, sell 100 of them off. Make room for others. Just some ideas :)

I’m giving myself the whole year. 8 bins in 12 months? Easy. Storage you ask? If only I had an entire pallet of bins delivered that are conveniently sitting in the storage room unused. I definitely think I will be forced into becoming a bricklink seller. I have more parts than I will ever use. But a wise man once told me you can never have too much LEGO. Stay tuned to see if he is right!

Up for a challenge? One sorted out lego bin per week? Should be manageable. No matter what, i love to see you organizing progress!
@brickitectКүн бұрын
That would be a challenge for sure! Maybe live stream the entire thing?
@Rickerdzn23 сағат бұрын
@ i'd say go for it! And please dont limit yourself to only short streams. If you got the time of course, would love to see some 2h+ streams of sorting and chatting

The way I will be starting to save space with the box dilemma is only keeping the 18+ sets and bigger builds that I really really like lol
@brickitectКүн бұрын
I think that’s a great strategy.

I unfortunately also am a current hoarder of boxes. I think if you can find a creative or entertaining way to get rid of the boxes, it could get you excited to get rid of them. For reference, MandR burned a lot of boxes earlier this year, which I thought was a fun video.
@patrickmannion6426Күн бұрын
Greg. I throw my boxes away as soon as I dump the lego out. Saves issues later. Well most of the time.

I wish people still liked them. It took me 6 months to sell my last batch of Skylanders and they only went for $18 for 15 of them.
