It’s definitely possible. Just started a new account like 4 days from bronze 1 and I’m 500sr off of crim already and before that I solo queued to iri on my main but it took longer. Really just depends if your SR is chalked from poor performance.

I’m crim 2 currently but when I was d3 and below I was still gaining 200 plus and then when I hit crim 1 I started losing a bit and ended up gaining in crim 1 for my most 60 which is not bad but if I hadn’t lost so much hitting crim 1 I would’ve been gaining a little bit closer to almost 100 a game in crim 2 but it’s ok next season imma hit iri this season was just bad cause of cheaters plus I don’t always have time to play the game so

You haven't done enough for the game to think you're better. Similar stats and kills doesn't mean you played the same way as he did. Most of the things he does is team oriented which the game does take into account, so its not just the stats look at the end of the match that determines sr but also how you played the game.

Smurfing isn't real in BO6 Ranked. Ranked play isn't about always playing people at your skill level. It is about competition first, and matchmaking is done based on your RANK. Rank /=/ skill--a silver player can be carried to Crimson by CDL Pros. Without placement games, good-great players are forced to climb ranks that pit them against people they are vastly better than. True bronze-silver-gold-platinum players will inevitably come up against players that are way better than them because that's just how the game mode is designed. That's how competing in everything else in life is too. Sometimes you get your ass kicked, and you either learn from it or piss and moan about a non-existent problem like smurfing. If someone wanted to beat up bad players in CoD, reverse boosting in ranked is a really inefficient way to do it when you could reverse boost in public matches and farm the bots there. The people antisocial enough to reverse boost in ranked to keep their SR low are just installing hacks and cheating their way to Iridescent & Top 250 instead to feed their antisocial desires. At least when they do that, they get something cool on their CoD profile for it.
