I could also see the wires and nightmarionnette to represent just how corrupted the pizzaplex is by the glitchtrap/mimic virus. A once joyful happy place corrupted and turned into a literal nightmare.

Look, I can believe that What they copied was the behavior of the animatronics, but I still doubt William Afton was copied because I realistically believe that footage that would make their founder look like a murderer would be destroyed or covered up so I do question how much info on William the company allowed I think at this point that should be the main theory after all I think it’s clear that the story is going for that the animatronics don’t know who they are let alone how they died so I think figuring out if how much info on William could realistically turn the program into a murder cycle because I do think secrets of the mimic is going to either prove or debunk that the mimic is glitch trap after all something happened in the 70s before William start his murders and once we know that I’m thinking the company would try to avoid anything that would be associated with me depending on what happens

It could be referencing when William murdered Charlie, and then she became the puppet and now that’s his nightmare version. 7:05

It could be that the nightmare puppet and all the stripes we see in the Pizzaplex is probably a reference to The Storyteller. The Storyteller has it where the Mimic1 program that was previously used to entertain Edwin’s son, also became Edwin’s Son by mimicking him. People believe that Edwin is the book stand-in for Henry, and given we know he’s a single dad with one child, we’re getting the indication that an AI mimic of Charlie is at play. It is hard to say exactly to what the nightmare staff bots are supposed to represent exactly. But I do find it interesting that we don’t see them in ruin, but we see them in security breach, but in Help Wanted 2 they don’t have the glowing eyes like in security breach. 🤔

The mimic could’ve learned to watch it victims through plushy’s from William Afton just like how he used to watch crying child with the Freddy plushy

This is unrelated but I am certant afton is burn trap, 1. The "true ending" has you fight burn trap but as we could see BT (burn trap) had flesh on it, why would venessa fix the mimic with flesh with all these robot parts? 2. In the intro to the fight freddy says " don't let HIM control me " in the books has the mimic been refered to as a him, I don't think the mimic even has a gender. 3. Robot beef, at the end the "true ending" the blob yanks BT away, why would the blob hate a random robot, as we know at least I think the blob has all of the kid's agony, why would it hate the mimic like it was afton. 4. The suit color, the model BT's rabbit suit color was a swampy worn down green, in the dlc in the glam bonnie room bonnie is intact and blue, where did the mimic get the suit? Miscellaneous, afton survived getting burned once how would he not survive it again,in the dlc we could see the mimic was able to easily chase cassie so that proves it is in pretty well condition but BT was limping after leaving the recharge station so why was BT limping its like it's age wore it down.

Also, when you look at the clump of flesh in his torso, there are cables plugged into it. It could be that Burntrap was supposed to be an attempt at giving William more power, it given he was in a comma, he probably wouldn’t have enough control, which is why the mimic version of William is used. We even hear Williams human and evil laughing when he walks around. He has some level of self awareness, but is incapable of moving his new body. It’s the AI version of him that’s moving the body, not THE William.

How could the mimic be what sped up the game AND be glitchtrap as a result of learning of the game. If the brought the mimic in to help code then the mimic already knows a lot, and therefore wouldnt mimic its own work right?
