Finally finished cleaning the garden. When the branches were scattered, there didn’t seem to be that many of them. But in the end it turned out to be almost six carts of firewood and two huge piles of brushwood. I’ll figure out what to do with them later, the main thing was to remove them before the grass starts to grow. I immediately burned the drier ones and got some mineral fertilizers for the garden, and at the same time burned the garbage from the old hives. I peeled back the boards to make them stronger and then cut them for firewood. Look how thick the evidence was, 10 centimeters, not like the ones I made now - 3.5. I did not transplant my bees into them - there were no favorable conditions yet...
I’ll sort out the mess, although it’s still early. Although the heating has been turned off in the cities, it is still cold and there is a lot of heat loss at night. But the time has come. As you’ve seen, I already have organic matter in bulk; you won’t be able to set up compost heaps all over the site. But the leaves are small, they quickly rot, and I want to scatter them over the area where I tore off virgin soil in the fall and immediately cultivate them. There is nowhere to put it off - the grass there is all over the place.
I have already prepared the equipment for work: I replaced the plow with a milling cutter. I can’t say for sure how the walk-behind tractor behaved after wintering. I brought the battery, installed it, oiled it, oiled it, but it didn’t even respond...
And here, walk two more times with a gradual immersion and, in theory, it will be enough, at least in that section it was enough. And there is still a piece of untouched virgin soil left - I’ll try to mill it too...
