Random tip for anyone who needs it, (WITH VANGUARD WEAPONS ONLY) if you crouch or prone with any vanguard gun, it reduces recoil. It's just as effective as mounting

Been using this set up with STG since it got buffed significantly and I do noticed that most people are still using the old STG loadout that comes with the drum mag and slightly different attachement. This one in particular is more beamer, it literally has no recoil and can outgun any AR in 200 meters. Hell I even get kills above 300meters when mounted. Glad too see it is getting more popular. Though I think that it is pretty broken at the moment as like what i've said, it can beam on very long range.

I personally prefer taped grip instead of polymer, and acrobatic instead of nerves of steel. I use taped grip on both guns since I don't use amped, and I love weapon swap speed, and the STG has really good movement speed, despite the long range build

I used to think the same as you with taped grip, but it really depends on the gun - not all guns benefit the same from taped grip. With taped grip, switching to the STG is only 30 milliseconds faster than without it, compared to something like the KG M40 where it's 270 milliseconds faster to switch to with taped grip.. And becomes even faster than the STG because of this difference. The KG also gets nearly twice the benefit when switching away from it to your secondary as well, with a nearly 600ms speed up where the STG only shaves off 300ms there.
