Your sensitivity is probably too high which is why you tend to get a bit lost looking around during chases. I would experiment with lower settings.

@ yup you're 100% right! After I changed my sens and got used to it, I shot up to high silver pretty quick and currently have a 70% win rate on DPS :)

I have a possible reason as to why the bronze’s don’t hear. Either two reasons. They turn the game volume down, sound effects too. Or they have music on cause they think OW isn’t a game where they need to hear. Or they do both like me so you don’t hear anything at all.

"a little bit early on the micro missiles" can someone explain? i loved dva in overwatch one (the worst possible time to love dva) and she was basically my main simply because i thought using defense matrix to eat ultimates was the coolest thing. the problem im having with the rework is how the micro missiles even work. do they have damage drop off or is the spread of the missiles too much at anything other than point blank? basically my question is when is the right way to use micro missiles? not as long range poke? which is what i assume they'd be used for since her left click does nothing at range.

i use them to confirm kills or to pressure supports away from their team also useful if you want ult charge really fast if everyones grouped up cos of the splash damage

In that particular scenario it’s because of the spread since the Dva was very far away from the target, and since they were diving straight at the enemy anyway, waiting even half a second before using missiles would have the dva doing a lot more damage because he would have been much closer in that half second

none of the replies really answered my main question which is what is the right way to use them. am i NOT supposed to use them at long ranges? if not, why? the spread, the damage drop off (if it exists?), the tradeoff of using a CD not worth it? should i ONLY be using the missiles at closer ranges? seems counterintuitive because the missiles are projectiles and her left click is hitscan, meaning when you're close range ideally you'll use the left click so if you use the missiles during that you'll have to overcompensate for the enemy movement strafes for your missiles, but this in turn makes it so your left clicks miss more often. what im saying is it seems the missiles are pretty terrible in any scenario except barrel stuffing them into a support in a small hallway or MAYBE sniping a low health enemy.

@@Sacrifice117 Missiles have no fall off but they have spread, travel time, and do some splash damage. You use it for close up damage because of the spread, but also it just being way easier to ensure they hit the target since it becomes increasingly harder to track an enemy with missiles while they are farther away. If you aren't going to be engaging before the cd resets (like if you're shooting enemy spawn when the match is just starting), then sure, may as well throw them out there. But you can't do nearly the damage of being up close. I can't think of any projectile in overwatch that has falloff tbh, but maybe I'm missing something. At least most of them don't. That's a hitscan thing (except for Ana's scope in, that has no fall off).

@@karamei this is my problem. even from 5 meters away you pretty much cannot track with both the left click and the missiles at the same time to do max damage because a simple strafe can dodge the missiles, so it seems the only way is when you're flying in and diving a single hero.
