They need to do a skit based in Trott unable to say no to people at his door. The requests get more and more bizzare, but Trott still cant say no.

Circling an Argos catalogue for things you’d like for Christmas was top tier 🥰

As an American, we had the same tradition, with thick almost-magazine size sales papers from Toys R Us and Walmart.

You've got to fold over those corners too though, they might miss one.

@eshelynn Whats magazine sized mean to you? Because to me that seems quite thin. A magazine has it's page numbers in the low hundreds at most. But most magazines probably don't even get past 100 pages. The argos catalogue is a goliath of a tomb able to challange a phone book in the being thicc department. But maybe where you are from magazines often have between 1000-2000 pages I dunno.

The juxtaposition of Chris Trott's wholesome childhood memory followed later by the demand to define new types of racism, S tier work lad.😂

The Argos catalog was the best time sink circling everything you ever wanted. The odd occasion you actually got something was the best.

If all of the buff guys mounting each other in the video game are friends, they have much larger friend groups than I've ever had.

I actually did open a Christmas present back when I was younger, Gears of war 3. Everyone else was out and I snuck into my parents bedroom, took it out of the cupboard and then played a couple of rounds of Horde mode. Felt awful…but it was fun.

Catalogues would actually be very useful if Amazon keeps recommending the same twelve fucking things over and over.

I will say, claiming you’re already a Jehovah’s Witness is actually a terrible idea if you want them to leave because this will be taken as an invitation to stay and get to know you. Extremely social bunch.
