The reason why Mithrill Coat doesn't work is because the voidgloom has a high enough DPS to basically bypass the effects even WITH healing, since you can't heal fast enough. A similar situation would be the f6 terra phase.

Tbh my setup was reap mask, goldor cp, necron legs, goldor boots, ld, necromancer sword (summons for hits phase), wand of restoration, itchy reforge on accessories (200-300 mp), eman pet, and god pot. if needed i got florid zombie sword. i also used aoe for beacons. Hope this can help and early t2 eman players.
