Yeah, the staff removes the auto cast delay, to make the spell 4t. It doesn't work for manual casting, so it doesn't speed up ancients and a few other reasons. So Not a bug.

@@Southerneng correct, but working as intended. It serves a purpose in pvp/pvm as well, cause making a edge case for only a few spells is weird. Don't want it to work for entangle, alchs, vuln, crumble undead, so and so.. only the auto castable normal spell book for a normal staff. Also for power scaling in switches for pvp, staves don't hold the auto cast for one reason or another.

I feel you about splashing, i used to rush alot in pvp worlds before harm update. on torso, on dharoks, on whatever the FK i was splashing 40% of the time in max mage :D and im there like "hello jagex? is it time to buff mages accuracy a tiny bit?" :D nice vid regardless

a little tip so you dont get speared by the magers is to bring a spear yourself, when they go to spear and entangle you, you spear them and run into safety.. works like a charm
