Why not put the pack opening desk the other way around so you wouldn’t be stood at the window but you’d be facing the window. And use the other setup as your backdrop? That way you don’t have to crawl in to the pack opening area and it would open the room up so much more. You can bounce the light off the wall and that angled ceiling if you are worried about the lights not fitting the other way. Or you could use the little cove where you were standing and put the lights there on a light stand and put camera on a tripod there too. It would look a lot nicer and would feel a lot nicer.
