yeah, especially considering that axe had a last stand on the previous video it feels kinda scummy, i get that being reset is annoying and it may cause you to do that but imagine the strat was placing a ton of bags and beds all over the map and quick travelling/dying to tp far away not very fun tbh

I think the campfire deaths should count towards that as well. Stuff like falling off a cliff while being chased, or taking an extremely risky jump where you could die and do end up dying, I think is fine. But just killing yourself intentionally as a means of escape shouldn't be allowed

I hate the too many structures on platform saddles thing. There's nowhere near enough space to build anything worth your time. You should also be able to put turrets on them. I always up saddle structures to max because sometimes it's fun having a mobile base!

Yeah, even if killing yourself wasn't explicitly cheating it was extremely cheap and should not be allowed if you do this again. Just watching the video where you were a hunter and one where you were hunted shows a clear difference in video style, where he is interested in making content and being entertaining, and you are only interested in winning.

Yeah. Axe could've easily busted Veno's base with a horde of everything at once, but he instead kept things interesting by just picking things off to add tension and drama. Axe even waits before sending in his entire army when they're at the chapel. Veno got decimated on every level, his fortifications were demolished, his creatures and items were lost, and he was forced back to the early game. The only reason Veno won was that he killed himself, running out over literally days of the remaining time. There wasn't a rule against it, so it still counts as a win, but there should definitely be rules in place to stop this in the future.

Although in this video he made it seem as though he got knocked out and drowned if you watch axemans video you can see him try drowning himself then get shot by one dart causing him to get knocked out. He killed himself 3 times which in my opinion is just scabby.

I still think that axeman did win this challenge with no offense. Since the rule should be strictly that there will be no suicide unless you got killed by wild dinos and should have cooldown for it. Other than that it's just cowardly tactics.

Subscribed to both channels just for this series. So good. I do feel like there needs to be consequence for dying (not even necessarily intentional) though. Maybe the survivor has to show up at an obelisk on day 100 with a certain item they've had to carry/keep safe for the challenge so if they die, they HAVE to go recover that. Or keep it in a safe box hidden somewhere and grab that and run to the obelisk on the last day. The hunter cannot pick that item up but can guard it if they find it. Would just keep that more entertaining then died on a fire, game over. Great stuff in any case though.

​@@Veno especially since they can walk on walls and teleport, great for running away if he gets a managarmr, especially great if you can set up a base "UNDER" a structure in the city since he won't check for a base on the underside of the stuctures, and even if he does he won't be ale to get up easily without having his fliers shot down or getting an enforcer himself (put a cliff platform down really close to the underside) and now surround the edge of the platform with sentries, and even if he does get in, remember enforcers can TELEPORT and don't take fall damage, so get the hell out of there (cliff platforms are learned in aberration so you should already have them)

Killing yourself in multiple ways to avoid being caught is surely against the spirit of this challenge. You could just do that from the start and then there would be no need for all the base making and taming and you'd win easily. Cheap victory here for sure.

Ok so the first time you killed yourself he tranquilized you in the water so fair enough but the second and most decisive time, yeah on day 99 you straight up cheated to win, that honestly should be a direct forfeit in future attempts for both of you, you should not be allowed to kill yourself to escape the hunter

He said silica pearls are hard to find... bruh they are at every Oasis in the desert and water banks in the middle of the map and at red and green ob.. SE is one is the easiest maps to get silica pearls on foot.
