The ship to the stars quest IS DIFFERENT in this mod it spawns a random ship from a pool of different ships that is pretty much ready to fly with!

You can speed up getting the Archotek Spore blueprint: prepare a ship with a speed/weight ratio greater than 2. This will allow you to stay out of firing range, even when the psionic ship is retreating. Also prepare 20-30 personal shuttles for discharging turrets in the mode of intercepting torpedoes, and personal shuttles for delivering your boarding team. launch the boarding party after the distracting shuttles reach the maximum attack range of the laser turrets

Keeping your thrust to weight high is generally goood. It makes most fights way easier as you can dictate the pace of the battle. And shuttles are too expensive to use against point defenses. Torpedoes are cheaper.

The way the serum works is basically reanimating all the cells in the body making the organs and everything else start working again at the cost of a severe illness sometimes, even death again sometimes. If theres only bones, theres no cells, its just.. nothing

Also, with SoS2, Afterlife Caskets. I also prefer to keep the bodies preserved as best I can, in the hope that they can be brought back. What's the point in giving up early because 'it's unlikely' when good things _do_ happen sometimes, and it gives you a chance?

Imo they ruined all difficulty at previous few episodes with Combat Extended. Playing with them is easier than playing at normal or even builder mode

@@sirkelendor5429 using Rimatomics you can build mortar interceptors, large shields, drop pod scrumbler and many types od different turrets. It's not cheesing because required many things. Imo he really can use more balanced tools from other mods. In other case it's not 500% if you use unbalanced modes that makes game easier than 100%
