In this video I spend 100 days on a raft in Minecraft with the goal of transforming the raft that is stranded and deserted in the ocean into the ultimate raft mega base! I also aim to get a full set of netherite armour and take on the huge challenge of beating the wither boss so that I can craft a beacon!

As a random note, there was a mod / modpack that had you starting on a single chunk that you could then add too by using a block to make new chunks. It seems like a pretty cool mod/modpack.

You do know that you can "chisel" back blocks with chipped? Like the glass you just tossed in the ocean, lol. Btw, when enchanting, always check swords, bows, books before deciding on what to enchant, just a small tip :D

Last comment, I swear! Chipped actually lets you "chisel" vines, mushrooms and even lanterns :) super cute stuff that can be made with that mod :D The base turned out awesome! Love it! Hoping for 200 days with a dragon slaying :D

One thing I like to do that I found works on this type of mob farm is have the platform they fall on be made of slabs then have trap doors on the bottom of the chute above ur head as ur grinding/afk. It reduces the chance of the mobs seeing u by a lot bigger margin

didn't realise that it needed to be a different version & in 1.20 ...about 1000-1500 blocks away was a circle of giant sand islands, some of them seemingly neverending & extremely mountainous O_O no grass island, no animals T_T Instead it was ruins , shipwrecks & ruined nether portals on the land. But it was alllll sand & still warm ocean biome, so no villages either! On 1.19 it spawned you on a sandy island & the barrels etc spawned in a little river/chasm behind you instead! lol On on 1.17 it didn't work either, no islands at all, just sea! XD Guess I'll have to try it only on 1.16 to finally get animals & grass! (or play with more mods?)
