Tip for gold hoarder missions: if you have friends to play with, as well as ashen vaults, they provide much more rep and gold for a little extra hassle, but significantly less sailing across the map.

Tip for the skeleton forts: collect all the gunpowder barrels in a spot and then up the final boss with the bombs. In smaller crews this can fully kill the boss. If hes still alive after use the blunder bust or cannons to kill him

I know the double pistol is a tempting weapon, but it’s really bad in PvP. If you’re only doing PvE it’s not a terrible weapon though. Same thing with the knives. I typically run sword sniper or sword blunderbuss. Sword does 10% dmg per hit, pistol does 55%, sniper does 70% and blunderbuss does 10% per pellet (10 pellets) also, never no-scope anything.

Play Open Crew until you find some good crewmates, I learned a lot of what I know from a select few sessions. But as a solo you'll be good, focus on learning the different types of voyages from treasure vaults to sea fortresses and whatnot until you have a good idea how to complete them. You'll get better each time and runs will take less time, keep at it brother!
