I spent 1 whole week using ONLY Omegle to try and learn and become fluent in Spanish for FREE. I set myself a challenge where strangers on Omegle had to teach me Spanish for 7 days straight but they had no idea... I wanted to see how much you can learn in just one week and to see if I can go from 0 knowledge to fluent in just one week by just using Omegle... you wont believe what happened :O

You said ‘soy/es’ a lot when you should have said ‘estoy/está’. Use ‘estoy’ for something that is temporary, for example, location. So, you said “Shrek es aquí”, but you should’ve said “Shrek está aquí”. Also, you could say “Estoy muy cansado” meaning “I am very tired”, not “Soy muy cansado”. There are a multitude of different ways to use estar and ser.

6:40 that guy was absolutely 100%. Till this day I remember the exact moment I started to understand English, it was during my English Class when the teacher was explaining the homework and I understood the word "work" and could distinguished between "world", "word" and "work". Since that day my reading comprehension got better as well and have improved ever since.

Yeah, I’m learning French and it is crazy you just get this “lightbulb” moment and suddenly things start to make sense. It happened a few years ago with my reading comprehension and it’s happened recently with my listening as I keep watching French stuff with subtitles, and I actually don’t need subtitles a lot of the time now! Language learning is so rewarding especially when you can feel your progress.

That one guy had some good advice. Learning a language is not a linear gradual experience, its gonna be slow at first, but once you pick it up then you'll be able to understand a lot more. On that note, I also learned that exposure and the immediate needs for a particular skill, is really what makes you learn a lot. For example, being placed in a Spanish speaking public lobby and getting booted out for speaking English in Among Us, really gave me the motivation to pretend I knew Spanish. It was fun. In the game everyone spoke really simply and to the point, and I got to learn all the colour names.

Well done for one week of learning spanish without an actual teacher. It is quite impressive actually. This goes to show how far confidence and a positive mindset can take you when learning a new language. The best thing you can do is just to throw yourself into situations where you are out of depth and then take in all the new vocabulary and tips you get when failing. Learning a new language is an iterative process and even though you may, at some points, not realize you're improving, you should look back at where you started, appreciate your effort and then go at it again :) Mucha suerte con tu aprendizaje, George. Con esa actitud vas a aprender la lengua bonita rápidamente 🇪🇸

@@Kae-denator i went from zero to C1 advanced in about a year, I think majorly due to the huge quantity of time I devoted to putting myself in social situations in which I could speak Spanish or hear it. And just really wanting to get past the frustration of not understanding, I changed the way I thought and went about my daily life during that year and I did it. I’d say i began to become fluent, ie i started to become independent in my ability to express my self, understand and adapt in unpredictable situations, somewhere about 6-8 months into that. It’s definitely doable, just, at least for me, takes a commitment to involve yourself with native speakers as often as literally possible. To think about/use the language in your daily life in as many situations as possible.

Hi! A Spaniard speaking! To everyone around trying to learn another language, I recommend starting by watching cartoons for toddlers. They use very basic language, as they're intend to teach children on how to speak. You learn simple phrases and tons of vocabulary. I know a lot of people who started like this, including myself, and trust me, it works. Obviously the next step is mixing yourself in the community. When you don't have any other option, when you can only make yourself understood by trying your best in this new language, your brain just learns to find the way to express anything. Good luck everyone!

This video was very entertaining! I've been learning Korean through a mix of duolingo and a program at my university where you teach someone a language and they teach you one in return. I find duolingo is good for teaching you vocabulary, but it does not explain sentence structure, conjugation or formalities very well. It also is not great for conversation practice, which is where having a buddy is useful! I kept writing down words or phrases you said throughout the video that I didn't know in Korean so I can practice them with my partner! You're making me tempted to practice with strangers, but some weird stuff goes on on Omegle. Having conversations in a foreign language is one thing, but to do it with strangers requires so much confidence! Great video!

Yes, for AR verbs, but it's o, es, e, emos, eís, en for ER and IR verbs. It also only applies to the present indicative tense :( Also for ¿tú hablas español? you can just say ¿hablas español?, as the ending of the verb already indicates who you're talking about/to.

I’ve been learning Spanish since a kid in passing but I really took to it when I heard some reggaeton in Orlando. I bought Spanish workbooks from the mall. I watch children’s videos and songs . Me gusta peppa pig en español .
