I am a tax accountant, so hypothetically you could write it off as a business expense. I’m assuming you file a Sch-C for an individual owned business, and depending on your total income and how much expenses you do have, it could be done. However if $100 is abnormal and a large % of your expenses, the IRS could look at you funny. But $100 expense is pretty minuscule and would usually be overlooked. Sum it up: yes you can write it as a misc expense as long as it doesn’t overly impact your taxable income
