Its nice that you still take it so positive. I've made a similar test, turned out that low content is too saturated. Whereas my high content books converted much better. Another point is, when you do a manual keyword search, just use AI to give you 100 key words related to your topic. There is no limitation on number of key words, you can add thousands if these match your product. There is no need to pay extra services.

I’ve been hesitant to spend money on KDP ads, but this breakdown is so helpful. Definitely learning from your experience before I make any ad decisions!

When I published my book on KDP, I was able to view the content, or at least a good sample of it. I did not supply an ISBN for the book. Did KDP change their policy on content viewing in the last month? Also, thanks for the video. Your experiments were interesting, and good to learn from.

Could be! I haven't checked in the past month.

The problem with bidding for higher placement, naturally, is the cost. For low and medium content books, the profit margin is very small. If your royalty per book is $2, and it cost you 80 cents per click, how many clicks can you afford to pay for? Two? Three? Your conversion rate of clicks per purchase would be enormous. In this scenario, $2/80 cents per click, you would have to sell a book on every third click. One out of three! The average on Amazon is one out of ten. That's the fight we face. To make a profit, I can afford only 20 cents per click but to noticed I have pay 80 cents per click. The goal, of course, is to sell book organically, without relying on ads. The hope is that ads will lead to organic sales.

You're absolutely right. It's definitely not easy.

there is nothing wrong with your compaign, you need just to target hight-content books

I think maybe just wrong time of year to buy a planner? Try this around New Years and you'll have a totally different response I think. Your planner probably doesn't matter when in the year you use it; I'm just saying when the fish might be biting...

Love that advice! Will try out the same experiment again at the beginning of the year ❤ Great advice!

Do you only publish notebooks? I just published my 1st book - medium to high content. I am running ads now, close to 1000 impressions and NO clicks yet… BTW I love the energy 👌

Awww thank you, Ryan. No, I only have one account.

@@fabiennehansen I currently publish close to high content books, but I also like to make some Coloring books or some activity books. However I don’t want them to be in the same account for branding purposes. I don’t know if it’s okay to make 2 accounts.

@@ryancruz446 You can just change the name and use a pen name when you publish the book. And then create two pages on Author Central, so it shows two different authors.
