Ok thank you. I always worry the camera footage isn’t straight and I cut peoples heads off lol. It’s just hard to push the trolley, hold the camera, pick the books and price comp on the other phone. It's so interesting to watch your approach and method. I was inspired (by you!) to try reselling books a few years ago. I went to our annual book fair, which is at a fairground area here. Love, love, loved this book fair clip and watching you in action: selection method, speed and positive attitude. Book fair shopping is the only 'sport' I play 😂 and I barely worry anymore about the odd looks I get when price comping and stacking up big book piles. I agree, it's certainly exhausting with all that visual overload and trying to quickly price judge by eye or comp on a little screen. Xx
@backfromburnout5 ай бұрын
Honestly there is so many people there buying up large loads. If people ask me why I’m buying so many I just tell them I’m a dealer. I find they like and react better to the word dealer rather than reseller. The bigger bookfairs like Lifeline welcome resellers. It’s the smaller small town bookfairs that sometimes struggle with the idea of what we do. At the end of the day we’re all just trying to rehome an abundance of unwanted books.

Just a suggestion: what if you put an ikea bag (or two if there is room for it) in your trolley and put the books directly in the bag. When you get to your table, you can just lift up the bag on the table. If it gets heavy, you can put two bags on top of each other in your trolley. And it might make the transfer to the car easier too.
