That is such a cool fountain. Wish that had been around for my boys. 😊 I used to love watching my boys drink out of bowls before I got a fountain. One of my boys would dig around his bowl before leaning forward to drink. I assumed that was to make the water move so he could see exactly where it was!

This looks really great! I let my girls drink out of the faucet in my bathroom only; not the kitchen or the other bathroom. 😊 Some people think that's unsanitary, but they're my babies! They love to drink running water. This would be nice when I'm not home.

yes, and faucet water has things like fluoride that we don't want our cats getting.

I'm all for self replinshing water fountain. But this kind of defeat the purpose over the pump fountain that just cycles though used water. Your pet is still drinking used water no matter how many fltertration there is in the system. The bio film is not just on the filters, but also the bowl and the plumbing and motors. Not to mention the number of things that needs to be cleaned afterward. Also, the UV system is in the wrong place. Unless your water source require treatment, the place the needs to be sanitized is the drink bowl itself and not the tank.

I have such a difficult time with my guy and water. He just can't seem to figure out what to do. He paws at the ground, he tries to drink but then puts his paw in and licks his paw. I have tried every type of fountain. I really would like to try this one to see if this design would work for him. Really helpful to see how it all comes apart and how to change the filters. i don't think so - you could remove that spout charile likes to lessen noise.

Nice video but that's just too expensive, I like my Pioneer stainless steel. After my one cat got chin sores from my plastic fountain, I threw it out and went to stainless steel. Clean it every two weeks filters are cheap and so was the fountain, had it for years.

the price point isn't for everyone, that's for sure. i would buy this fountain over the pioneer for my lifestyle and preferences, however. trigg was my chin acne cat, and he's gone. but if he was still around, i would still buy it because where charlie drinks - his chin touches nothing. and trigg didn't have kidney disease, so wasn't thirsty since he was raw fed. the really hate water that has sat for a long time - if i take a sip of water i got from the faucet yesterday, i can always tell. so i love that this one has constantly new water than recycled water...but that's also the reason for the price difference. the pioneer one is a great inexpensive one, but i would definitely replace it at minimum, weekly.
