that artifact upgrade you got is so goood. casue you never vaporise with childe anyway, its always xiangling that gets the vapes. Sooooo thats a super good upgrade people dont praise atk% enough

This is a misconception many people have. The elemental mastery gives his burst a much greater dmg boost in vape teams than the measly 200 atk. Yes the 15% atk are overall better, but just by a tiny bit. Childe is a quickswap char who doesn't stay on the field for long and a good Childe player always starts with a vaped burst. I'm not even 100% sure if the new artifact is better than the em one in vape teams. However in other teams the new one is definitely better.

@@te-jay6058 childe only vapes on his burst, the rest of the time he's normal and charged attacking and never vapes. I personally value crit over em for childe since his hydro application is too fast to vape on anything other than his burst. em is good for screenshot damage though

@@te-jay6058 between the 2 I think the new artifact is better old artifact: 42 to 103 em gives 10.9% more vape damage new artifact: 1883 atk to 2020 atk + 9.3 cv 10.9% increased vape damage on only his burst compared to 138 atk and 9.3 cv on his burst, normals, and charged attacks; I still believe the new artifact is better. Feel free to explain your reasoning on why the old one was better because I'm not a theorycrafter so I could be wrong.

As a Childe man myself I have some mad respect for the dedication. Been building my Childe since I got him in his first re-run banner and tbh I still think he needs work when he's around 60% crit rate and 180% crit dmg. It takes so long to get artifacts for him when jut about all the artifacts you get from that domain are blizzard ones.
