Nick, if you like fluffy dogs that are usually really loyal and good personalities, look into Australian Shepherds. We had a few as family dogs, I love them. Decent size, can easily protect house, not usually very loud, and the ones we had were super chill as they got older (puppies are always going to be a handful). If you want a Husky, I would also recommend instead looking at a Malamute as a possibility. Remember, Huskies are 'working dogs', like Border Collies, they are high energy and need a LOT of exercise. Anyway, hope you find the perfect dog for you!!
