It is fantastic to have Akwaibom develop and fulfill its potential. The people of Akwa ibom will benefit more. I hate that black and colour paint design on the hard shoulder commonly seen on Nigerian roads. It is about time they do away with it.

Akwa Ibom future lies in Tourism. All that Oil money should be channeled into Agriculture and Eco-Tourism. Just like how Dubai use their oil money to invest in Tourism

Mr Umoh Eno, pls add something like 12-storey building in the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort. It can be added just after the Ibom Hotel, on the left side of it. It's just a suggestion I'm making.

I personally think, they should allow private companies to do as much as 20-25 story buildings on the shore lines. The beaches need some hotels and resorts.

Anytime I see anything about Akwa Ibom or Uyo, it's always about 3 things; 1. Stadium 2. Roundabout 3. Edikang Ikong Soup. How can you compare this to Dubai? Are your standards so low? Have any of these KZbinrs ever even been to Dubai? Nigerians have gotten use to very low standards.

@Isaacakang I agree with you. Akwa Ibom as a matter of fact was approximately 4 million residents as at 2006 census (nearly 20 years ago). How on earth is it still 4 million in 2024. For those that need sources. akwaibomstate.gov.ng/about-akwa-ibom/ states the current estimate of Akwa Ibom State at 7.2 million. And this is in line with NBS estimates, following the annualised rate of growth between 1991 census at about 2 million and 2006 census at about 4 million. It's the landmass of the state that's amongst the smallest at bout 7,000sqm. But the population of the state is not amongst the smallest. It's in the top 15 most populous states

This is really disturbing. Inferiority complex is real with you guys.. There's 'Dubai' in Anambra, there's an "Acropolis" in another state nearby. Why do you hate your authentic self? Why do you over glamorise things and make noise over nothing. If it's not "world class, na super luxury, billionaire, mega". Stop being fake for once. Be original!!! Humility is a virtue.

remove that Town and replace it with a City, a state capital can't be a town have some common initiative. a place that has boast of a stadium, malls, hotels, bars, lounge, relaxing spot, well tarred and good road network is not a town rather a city. maybe you lived in the areas that lack this basic amenties, thank yourself fro travelling.

Have been to the Ibom Hall our cultural centre? Have you been to 21 century digital towers that glitters in the night? Have been to the E- Library first in West Africa even Lagos don't have it.... Have you been to Ibibio heritage museum to see our Culture? Have been to Ibom plaza park a sitout for leisure, have you been to Discovery park? All this mentioned places are there in Uyo and it's environs..... When next you are in the city, take a tour guide and move around the city and take note of basic infrastructure... Always take corrections you aren't above correcting. As for now no need to be your subscriber.
