Even when you should get a branded item like Balenciaga, you are still unlikely to actually get that branded item in the mail. My fiance was supposed to get some Balenciaga shoes, they showed up, no brand name in sight.

so they buy items in bulk and they then give you an item that's worth $20 more than the price of the "mystery" box. but they make it back by charging $45 per item to ship. So you pay over market value for any item you get. You're better off buying specifically the item you want on ebay or the seller's actual site. Wow. I can't believe (but actually totally believe it) that they charge $45 PER ITEM! That way they never lose. They could give you a legit $130 value item for a $100 box and then they'd still make money thanks to the shipping fee. And you don't have a choice, you either pay the $45 for the shipping or you lose $50 for clicking on the box. STAY AWAY FROM THESE MYSTERY BOX SITES!!! You can NEVER win. Think about it guys, if you were the owner of the site, how would you make money by giving away items that are worth more than people are paying for them?

This is not true actually. I’m not sponsored or famous. I put $100 on hybe, I won a pair of yeezys and a supreme beanie. I made a 300 dollar profit and shipping was only 20 bucks for both items. Both items came from StockX but only downfall is it took about 2 months to finally get them. So you are not correct you can win but again it’s GAMBLING. You are not promised to win, it’s all luck and chance

Besides every other negative thing, the fact that the exchange price is only 50% of the value of the item is also bad because even if you get something expensive against all odds, it's not guaranteed that you even want it or you may already have gotten it, so there goes 50% of the value down the drain. I assume it's better to just take it and sell it yourself for like 10-20% off. Unless the box is really cheap and the item is like $10 and the shipping is like $5.
