That's a great mindset to have about offloading some slabs for liquidity! I wish more sellers would do that with their singles too. As a buyer, I went to a show where vendors didn't even want to get 90% of TCGplayer on cheap moderately played holos and reverses ($2-10 per card)... like, ok, now they're going to sit in your binder or case for 3+ more months because you didn't want to take $5-10 off the total... if I were a vendor, I would take the chance to offload hard-to-sell cards to any buyer with an offer pretty much. You find a buyer, make them happy (good customer relationships are extremely undervalued), and get some extra cash to increase your business and not hold it in illiquid binder cards. As a buyer, I will not go back to a vendor that won't try to make a fair deal. A negative buying experience means I'll never buy from you again. Now yes, if I was lowballing, I would be the issue, but I'm saying these dudes overprice items, then want to stick at their sticker even if I buy a whole bunch of cards.

Damn, I wish I started collecting Pokemon when it first came out. I was a sports card collector back in the 90's. Well I'm 48 now and I'm buying Pokemon cards...I guess it's never too late. The market are not going anywhere for tcg's. Thanks for sharing the video. 😁

ehh, there’s some nuance to it. eg: box it came from, if all packs were ripped each print is different there’s not a be all end all weight for heavies especially after early WOTC
